Comments: It’s been a fun season playing with all the different options from all the companies in boots. Crispi has never really worked with my feet and I had a pair of Shivers for a while but I still got the Crispi Crunch from them so I passed them onto another home and moved up to the newest version of the Crispi Evo which is so much better for me in fit and function than the previous model of Shiver or Evo(Orange 07-08 model). Really nice flex in the bellow though stiffer than the Garmont Prophet which is a great boot yet not for everyone. The Evo is a driving machine with a stiffer cuff and over stiffer feel. I really liked it though and believe that the hard charging skier or just overall bigger skier will truly enjoy these boots. I had no issues with toe pinch like I did in the Shiver. Looking forward to spending more time with these boots and seeing where their limits are…so far I have not found one when it comes to making turns. Only downfall might be in touring because of weight and bellow flex but the Rottefella NTN Binding has all the features you are looking for when it comes to free pivot design and function so the stiffer bellow really isn’t a problem.
